Who am I and what do I do? Well, the answer to this question will depend on what type of day you catch me on, but, generally speaking I’m the travel manager to come to if you are seeking a deeper kind of travel experience. I am knocking on a bit now but my experience of life and travel are what underpins the type of experiences that I create with my clients. I’ve been around the block a bit and have huge network of contacts, and, it’s these contacts that enable me to work with people on planning trips that satisfy their bucket list desires.
If people are looking for a bucket and spade style holiday that’s fine by me but my forte is about creating feeling holidays and not just seeing holidays. I don’t have a bricks and mortar style shop with gnarly old posters of Thailand plastered all over the walls. I don’t scour the computer looking to shave pence of a package holiday. I will give people the very best price possible without compromising on their needs or desires, plus, I add value through my knowledge of travel brands, luxury hotels and access to behind the rope experiences.
Some people like to plan their own holidays and say that they find it relatively easy due to the vast amount of information available on the internet. I appreciate this and understand their desire to do so as I too like to guide my own ship. I also know only too well that there is a shed load of travel related advice and product on the internet and deciphering it all isn’t plain sailing, as much of it can be just marketing blurb, misinformation or plain old negative feedback from some serial complainer who is peed off because someone has looked at them the wrong way on the very day they wrote their rather biased review. I’m here to help people wade through all that’s good, bad and ugly when it comes to travel planning. I like to get to know clients on a personal level and my phone is always on, day or night to assist clients with any travel curve balls, no matter how big or small.
I‘d like to say that i’m the type of travel mentor that people like to cultivate a relationship with because that’s how people get the best out of me and me out of them. I work closely with my clients to ensure that together we plan deeply, because let’s face it time flies by so quickly and so we all need to make it count. I know first hand that in today’s fast paced World people are seeking more impactful travel experiences, the clients that I work with don’t have time for mediocre, and, I‘m with them on that on that one.
I don’t really do guides, guides are for tourists so I work with ground handlers who can really give travellers the low down on a location and bring it to life in a very unique and personal way. I don’t really do off the shelf because I will always offer advice, knowledge and services that will enrich a persons trip in a way that’s special to them.
So, if you want tickets and transport to Coachella then you‘ll get just that but if you want a personalised itinerary, VIP services and to rent a Cadillac with a personalised touring plan as well, then it’s yours, and, it's a service that's free!
Building relationships is important to me and I reward my clients by offering cash rewards for referrals, so, each client who refers a new client will receive a cash reward. After all, it’s a more rewarding way to build a business than lining the pockets of google.
